Comments policy
While the ALS will generally be tolerant of most non-spam comments, this blog is private property and we have the right to control it as we see fit. Therefore, we retain the right to delete or moderate comments if/when we deem appropriate.
- Some (but not all) swear words will trigger automatic moderation, so to ensure your comment is published please be careful with your language.
- Other potential triggers for moderation include abusive behaviour, excessive repetition and trolling.
- Please attempt to keep your comments relevant to the topic, at a reasonable length and properly formatted.
This policy is not contrary to libertarian philosophy. Libertarian philosophy suggests that people should be able to use their property (and only their property) any way they like, so long as they don’t directly harm another person. Libertarian philosophy does not suggest that you have a God-given right to write comments on another person’s blog.
